South Carolina Highway 165 (SC 165) is a 22.5-mile (36.2 km) highway that connects US Highway 17 (US 17) in Ravenel to US 17 Alternate just north of Summerville. From Ravenel to SC 61, the highway is very rural, only to become a congested urban highway to its junction with US 17 Alt.
Dorchester County currently has plans to add additional lanes to SC 165 from Ashley River Road to Berlin Meyers Parkway.[1]
